Palm Beach Kennel Club Awarded Chamber Cup at Golf Tournament
The Annual Chamber Golf Tournament soared like an eagle at The Breakers Rees
Jones Course on June 12. Before the official start of the scramble, golfers
enjoyed a Continental Breakfast sponsored by the Cleveland Clinic of Florida
Health and Wellness Center, and warmed up on the Driving Range sponsored by Dr.
David Dorfman, Mobile Chiropractic of the Palm Beaches. Two Nicklaus Equipment
hybrid clubs, donated by Summit Sports Marketing, were awarded through a drawing
for corporate foursomes only. That was just the beginning of the more than 100
great prize giveaways all day long. The winners of the longest drive contest,
Cressman Bronson, National City and Jill Burgess, Cleveland Clinic of Florida
Health and Wellness Center, won gift cards to Home Depot and Bloomingdales.
Carrabba’s Italian Grill on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard sponsored the Closest to
the Pin contest and awarded a winner in each foursome with a gift card.
The tournament’s winner of the Corporate Cup was the Palm Beach Kennel Club and
the team name will be engraved on the trophy proudly displayed in the Chamber
lobby. Its players included Pat Rooney, Jr., Kevin Ring, Kyle Henderson and Bill
Dunn. In a match of cards, CityPlace Tower was the second place foursome with
members Jon Blunk, Mark Holzhauser, Scott Butler and Kevin Probel. The third
place foursome, First Bank of the Palm Beaches, included Josh Choomack, Chris
Cook, Charles Feasel and Gary Pohrer.
